Overview

CJC-1295 without DAC, also known as Modified GRF (1-29) or Mod GRF 1-29, is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It contains the first 29 amino acids of native GHRH with strategic modifications that improve stability and potency, but lacks the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) found in the longer-acting version. This results in a short half-life of approximately 30 minutes, producing a clean, pulsatile GH release that closely mimics the body's natural rhythm. It is most commonly researched in combination with a GH secretagogue like Ipamorelin for synergistic effects.

Mechanism of Action

CJC-1295 (No DAC) binds to GHRH receptors in the anterior pituitary, stimulating the synthesis and pulsatile release of growth hormone. Its short half-life means GH release follows the body's natural pulse pattern rather than producing a sustained elevation, which preserves negative feedback loops and reduces receptor desensitization. When paired with a GHRP like Ipamorelin or GHRP-2, the two peptides act synergistically — CJC-1295 increases the amplitude of GH pulses through GHRH receptors, while the GHRP triggers release through ghrelin receptors and suppresses somatostatin. This combination produces a stronger, cleaner GH pulse than either compound alone.

Key Benefits
  • Stimulates natural pulsatile GH release from the pituitary
  • Preserves natural GH rhythm and feedback loops
  • Synergistic with GHRPs for amplified GH pulses
  • Supports lean muscle development and recovery
  • May enhance fat metabolism and body composition
  • Improves sleep quality and depth
  • Supports skin elasticity and anti-aging research
  • Increases IGF-1 levels indirectly through endogenous GH release
Side Effects & Safety
  • Injection site redness, swelling, or irritation
  • Mild flushing or warmth following administration
  • Possible head rush or lightheadedness shortly after injection
  • Transient water retention or tingling in extremities
  • Hunger increase if combined with ghrelin-mimetic GHRPs
  • Not approved for human use; sold strictly for research purposes
  • Long-term safety profile in humans has not been fully established
  • Consult a qualified medical professional before any use
Research & Stacking Notes

Synergistic with Ipamorelin for the gold-standard GHRH/GHRP combination Pairs with GHRP-2 or GHRP-6 for stronger GH pulses with appetite stimulation Commonly stacked with PEG-MGF or IGF-1 LR3 in muscle growth research Complements BPC-157 and TB-500 in recovery and repair protocols Best researched on an empty stomach to avoid GH blunting from elevated insulin Typical research dosing: 100 mcg, 1-3 times daily (pre-bed dose most common) Pulse timing: post-workout, pre-bed, and upon waking are common windows Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water; refrigerate after mixing Use within 2-3 weeks of reconstitution for peptide stability
