MOTS-C
MOTS-C is a 16-amino-acid mitochondrial-derived peptide that regulates metabolic homeostasis, insulin sensitivity, and cellular energy production. It mimics the effects of exercise at a cellular level and is valued for fat loss, improved glucose control, and enhanced endurance.
Activates AMPK (AMP-activated protein kinase), increasing glucose uptake, fatty acid oxidation, and mitochondrial biogenesis. Improves insulin sensitivity and shifts cellular metabolism toward energy efficiency, mimicking the effects of caloric restriction and exercise.
